Tap and hold a finger over a document in the document list and a dialog will appear where you can rename the document.
You do it with the normal swipe gesture (right to left) in the document list. You can also delete documents in the normal iCloud panel in the system Settings.
You can use Smultron's many text tools by using the standard edit menu. In it you will find tools like Preview, Shift Left and Prepare for XML. Which tools are available depends on whether you have any text selected or not.
You can insert the text snippets (either one of the defaults or any you have defined yourself in Smultron 6 for Mac) by using the standard edit menu.
Yes, swipe left with three fingers on the text.
Yes, swipe right with three fingers on the text.
You can change the font and colors used by changing the theme from the Preferences button. If you want to change a theme you can do that in Smultron 6 for Mac. Please also note that the font size on your iOS device is also dependent on your settings for Text Size in General in Settings on your device.
Smultron saves new documents with the standard Mac OS X/Unix line ending. Smultron finds which text encoding it should use automatically.
Smultron finds which syntax definition it should use for your document automatically using the file extension and also looking into the file to see if it e.g. has a #!/bin/sh on its first line.
If you are having any problem with e.g. documents that don't update as they should between different devices, try to turn off Documents & Data (or just Smultron 2) in Settings - iCloud and then turn it on again after a while. If it still doesn't work, you can try to delete the Smultron 2 app from your device and then reinstall it so that the system refreshes everything for the app.
